Die Servilleteros Parota werden aus Parota-Holz hergestellt. Das Kernholz ist hell bis mittelbraun, manchmal ist ein Rotstich möglich und es ist mit dunkleren Streifen durchsetzt. Die Relief-Deckel sind ebenfalls aus diesem aussergewöhnlichen Material.
Sie werden von indigenen Kunsthandwerkern aus Oaxaca, Guanajuato und Jalisco geschnitten und handbemalt
Alle diese Stücke werden mit Bienenwachs behandelt, was die Produkte lebensmittelecht macht und es wird kein künstlicher Lack verwendet.

The Servilleteros Parota are made of parota wood. The heartwood is light to medium brown, sometimes a red tinge is possible and it is interspersed with darker streaks. The lids are also made of this extraordinary material.
The relief lids are also made of this extraordinary material.
They are cut and hand painted by indigenous artisans from Oaxaca, Guanajuato and Jalisco
All of these pieces are treated with beeswax, making the products food safe, and no artificial varnish is used.
